Typical of this city, large open parks everywhere

And the national flag flying everywhere
DINNER AT LA CABRERA

One of the most famous steakhouses in Buenos Aires

Even at 10.30pm we had to wait 30 minutes for a table, but the complimentary champagne and chourizo eased the pain
The girls warming up with some red wine before the meal

The chourizo was so good we ordered it for our shared starter. Yep, no small portions in this place!
Hope you're hungry, that's one massive steak! Gotta love Argentina, they take their meat seriously!

Great food and happy faces all round
Now that's a lot of food!

And after all that check out the size of the leftovers!! Steak baguettes tomorrow

Complimentary champagne after our meal

Nothing like a sucker after a huge meal....

A quick nightcap in one of the bars in the thriving area of Palermo

A DAY AT RECOLETA CEMETERY

Walking through the park on our way to the cemetery

The beautiful church connected to the cemetery

Stunning cross outside the church

The gates to Recoleta Cemetery

About to head in, with no idea what to expect

Time to explore the cemetery

Leise doing his best impersonation

The tombs are huge and impressive

Evita - according to one of the guides the Argintineans do not like her

Eva Perona's gravestone

The girls standing next to Evita's grave

The cobblestone pathways are all beautiful and lined with trees

Statues throughout the grounds

Another stunning tomb/grave

Posing in front of one of the famous graves

Another example of a magnificent tomb

A mime artist scares V on one of the main shopping streets
TANGO NIGHT:

Cafe Tortoni, and we are really looking forward to our Tango night
The Cafe is authentic inside, you can tell it's 150 years old
All ready for the show
Some of us opt for a real drink before the show......

Georgie decides on the tea option!
The live music was exellent
